bichalan or vichalan, deviation from the norms, is a literary movement in Indian Nepali literature with special stress upon new poetry. 1st issue of the magazine 'bichalan' was published in April 2007 by a group of young Gorkha poets. To creatively question the monotony of expression and habitual art, bichalan has consciously put an effort, through several issues of magazine with postmodern spirit, to interact with the readers and to defamiliarize the content and form with deviated poetic tools.
